Pamela Pavlisack has extensive experience investigating human-computer interactions and is interested in researching and documenting how technology affects our feelings and relationships. Pamela has been exploring how technology can extend our emotional reach and teaches emotional design and affective computing at the Pratt Institute in New York City. On the main stage, Pamela will explore how we can design intimate relationships between technology and humans that enhance our emotional perception. We will talk about how public services can and should look at the design of emotions and the relationship with new technologies for meaningful and caring relationships.
