Manuela Powidayko is a Senior Urban Planner and consultant with Instituto Limite* with an expertise in post-disaster recovery and resiliency planning. At the NYC Department of City Planning, Manuela manages Zoning for Coastal Flood Resiliency and is involved in the ongoing response to COVID-19. She also consulted for the Urban Land Institute to develop floodplain regulations for the city of St. Petersburg (Florida), was a Forefront Fellow with the Urban Design Forum looking at heat mitigation, and lectured at several universities in Brazil and the United States. Manuela holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University.
