Carlos Santiso (PhD), a national of France and Spain, is the Director of the governance practice of the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), focusing on Digital Innovation in Government. He is based in Colombia since September 2018 with a team of specialists in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico. He spearheads the development of a regional initiative and suite of services on govtech start-ups and public innovation for the region. He is also an advisor to the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Transparency and Anti-Corruption and has been nominated as one of the 100 most influential persons in digital government in 2019 by Apolitical.
